Spiez Castle - Enjoy 1300 years of history

Located on a small peninsula on Lake Thun, the castle and its churchare of national significance.
In its interactive exhibition, the castle shows 1300 years of local history. Hands-on attractions, 3D-stations, and many more offers as for example the knight’s trail prove that there’s something for everyone, especially for kids and families.

Art within historic walls – Spiez Castle presents each year a small art exhibition. 21th of June - 20th of October 2024: "SAMUEL BURI & das Berner Oberland".

Of cultural and as well historical importance is the romanesque castle church with its frescoes. Take a break in the park, the rose or herb garden of baroque times.
Both, castle and castle church, are great places to hold private festivities as wedding ceremonies within a classy atmosphere.
